Working With Patients Brings Me Joy!

It’s important to remember that oral health is a fundamental aspect of overall health.

Taking care of one’s oral well-being is just as important as taking care of one’s physical health.

Do you have an OMD?
Orofacial Myofunctional Disorders (OMDs) are disorders of the muscles and functions of the face and mouth. OMDs may affect, directly and/or indirectly, breastfeeding, facial skeletal growth and development, chewing, swallowing, speech, occlusion, temporomandibular joint movement, oral hygiene, stability of orthodontic treatment, and more.

WHAT WE DO

For Adults

While myofunctional therapy works better for children because their bones are rapidly growing, this treatment is still incredibly beneficial for adults.

WHAT WE DO

For Children

We provide support for kids facing OMD issues. The best age to being treatment is 8 years old. Most patients are 8-12 years old. Treatment may be recommended for younger children, ages 4-7, depending on the child’s condition.

WHAT WE DO

Positive Impact

Program goals are individualized and are meant to create new healthy oral habits. With Myofunctional Therapy, a patient can regain the joy of eating, speaking, breathing, and even sleeping more soundly.
